I just read on the Focalpoint website that Australian BMX distributor TripleSix (Tempered, Fly, Subrosa etc…) will take a rather large group of guys for a roadtrip starting at the end of March. Here’s a quick copy & paste of the info I saw on FP:
Triplesix are proud to announce our 2010 roadtrip from Melbourne to Brisbane starting on the 26th of march(next friday) to the 5th of April. We are taking 12 – 13 guys along for the ride from the Aus Triplesix riders as well as special guests Ryan Sher (Shadow Conspiracy/Subrosa) and Hoang Tran (Subrosa) both from the USA. We will be hitting shops along the way and stopping at parks to hang and ride with anyone that is keen to have a roll around with us.
Turns out that only hours after the lost tapes edit was posted, this new one was uploaded. This edit features Mike Vockenson and Mat Lawton, edited by Manbeast over at DiversityBMX. Nice one!
In other Tempered news, Macca is getting back on his bike after a badly broken leg and some drama with the surgery. I’ve seen the scar, and it is not pretty. Manly, but not pretty… Good luck on the comeback!
Matty over at Tempered Bikes recently recovered some tapes that had been lost for about a year. He whipped up this little edit out of the footage. I think it’s a good, laid back edit with a great vibe. Having fun on bikes, that’s what it’s all about. Enjoy.
Here’s a little something that Tempered Bikes just put up on their site. Their new “Bones” stem got that nickname for obvious reasons. I’m really impressed with the finish and the workmanship on those units.
Like Matt says, they will be hitting the shelves real soon. Check the website for more pics.
I’ve been busy with things these past couple of weeks and I’ve been unable to spend time posting in here. Now here’s a random dump of information and videos that have been piling up.
Childstore, the best BMX store in Sweden, and maybe the whole of Scandinavia, recently went live with their new website. Go check it out. It’s fresh.
Tempered Bikes have some sneak peeks of their new stem that is coming out. It’s nice looking and different in some ways. Also, there’s a welcome video for their new recruit Michael Vockenson.
James Wade has the new photobook for january up. As usual, filled with some good random photos.
Simple Bikes have news up about Oba Stanley, Jeremy Muller, Eduards Zunda and Shoji Tanaka.
New web edit with Adrian Malmberg riding an indoor park in cold Sweden:
Tempered Bikes are showing some new products on their site. The hard goods will be dropping soon with the 2010 release and the Electric Tee will also drop soon. Everything looks dialled and I believe it will all be a hit when it reaches the stores. That sprocket sure is something different design wise.
Tempered Bikes recently released a flipbook showcasing some upcoming products. Definitely a high quality production with some really nice riding shots mixed in. Be sure to take an extra good look at the Anchor Down sprocket.
