Simple Bikes young rider Pim van den Bos has a pretty sick setup for getting tricks dialled in. The camera on the tripod is hooked up to the TV, presumably via a hard drive of some sort, and there is an adjustable delay for the playback on the TV. This way you can do your trick, and after you land just roll around and view the stunt you just did on the TV. If you should miss the trick, or want to watch it again, it’s easy to just rewind and check it out again. Pretty tech.
Last night I had a conversation on MSN with Simple Bikes team rider Pim Van Den Bos. He told me that he had a crash with his bike and that he’ll be in for surgery in a couple of days. Check below for the conversation.
My friend Pim Van Den Bos has been working on double flips in foam and he’s told me that he was getting pretty comfortable with it. Before new years he told me that he was gonna take it to the dirt in his local indoor park and here’s a clip of the attempt.
Not quite there yet, but it was damn close. He’ll have it down soon I’m sure!
