Peter Grünfeldt rides for Simple, he’s been on the team since the start. Jesper Stern made an edit of some of Peter’s more recent riding. I found the link to the edit on Simple’s new Twitter page. Check that from time to time why don’t’cha? Jesper also has a bunch of other edits up on his Vimeo channel. Be sure to check them out.
In other Peter news, it seems like the poor bugger has broken his collarbone. Not fun! Get better soon buddy!
Found this in a rarely visited folder on my hard drive. It’s from way back in 2002. My very first edit, ever. From a very brief time when I owned a DV-camera, and way before the era of webedits and such things. I only did about two semi serious edits anyway, the rest have been short 10 clip (maximum) things of myself to show to friends and stuff. The “good” clips have always ended up in someone else’s edit or DVD.
It’s from a one day visit to a skatepark that is located about 90 minutes from Stockholm. Not sure if it even exists anymore. A bonus fact is that the park was designed and built by a bmx rider who is somewhat of a Swedish local hero, but the park was mainly aimed for and used by skaters. I even heard rumors that bikes were banned in there at some stage.
Check out the small handlebars and big diameter tubing on the frames!
[Edit: Apparently the place does still exist and a few of the very same guys featured in the video above actually made an edit from their session there 11 days ago. Spooky!]
