Peter Grünfeldt rides for Simple, he’s been on the team since the start. Jesper Stern made an edit of some of Peter’s more recent riding. I found the link to the edit on Simple’s new Twitter page. Check that from time to time why don’t’cha? Jesper also has a bunch of other edits up on his Vimeo channel. Be sure to check them out.
In other Peter news, it seems like the poor bugger has broken his collarbone. Not fun! Get better soon buddy!
A bit late, but here it is. Third batch of samples from the FP crew before the real preview is coming. As always, great riding and some really funny stuff.
I just found this video of Mark Vos posted on TCU. He rides for Simple Bikes, although Niels over at Simple seems to have been a bit too busy to post this yet — or it might just be the different time zones playing a trick on us. It seems Mark likes to go fast and to do wallrides which means he’s a rider in my taste. What’s better than wallrides and speed? I really enjoyed this video, I hope you will too!
Over the past few days a couple of new team web edits have popped up on the Simple website (and TheComeUp of course). Decided to post them here even though they’re old news now…
Corey Godfrey, Simple’s latest US team member.
There’s also an older edit of him here.
Jeremy Muller — More trails and some park from Simple’s big french shredder. Edit by Dan Foley.
Just watched this edit of my friend Chris ‘Flagz’ Matthews who rides for Sputnic. It’s a good mix of street and park with some really good moves in it. I dig it!
Found this in a rarely visited folder on my hard drive. It’s from way back in 2002. My very first edit, ever. From a very brief time when I owned a DV-camera, and way before the era of webedits and such things. I only did about two semi serious edits anyway, the rest have been short 10 clip (maximum) things of myself to show to friends and stuff. The “good” clips have always ended up in someone else’s edit or DVD.
It’s from a one day visit to a skatepark that is located about 90 minutes from Stockholm. Not sure if it even exists anymore. A bonus fact is that the park was designed and built by a bmx rider who is somewhat of a Swedish local hero, but the park was mainly aimed for and used by skaters. I even heard rumors that bikes were banned in there at some stage.
Check out the small handlebars and big diameter tubing on the frames!
[Edit: Apparently the place does still exist and a few of the very same guys featured in the video above actually made an edit from their session there 11 days ago. Spooky!]
This is an edit of a shredder from the local park I pass every day going to and from work. I see him ride there almost every wednesday night when the lights are on and meny of the local riders gather to ride the park with almost no interruption from skaters.
He’s got some sweet moves for sure, well worth a look.
Back home in Stockholm the winter season is in full swing and the guys are now limited to ride the few indoor parks that are available. 5 more months until outdoor season again.
Jesper Stern of Team Tumult recently did this edit from a session in Fryshuset.
At the end there’s a nasty crash and world champ Klas got knocked out. Pretty harsh.
I just noticed that Cooper has put up the latest Focalpoint web edit on Vimeo. It’s a park only edit and the riding is top notch. The FP dudes are real shredders on their bikes. Towards the end there’s even a little clip of me, whohoo!
