Here’s a little thing I’ve been playing around with lately. Over the years I have made many drawings of different parts and I just figured it could be a cool thing to put it all together into a complete bike. The frame, fork, bars, stem and front hub are already available as products. The rims, tyres and barends are just mock-ups and the rear hub plus grips are in the planning stages.
When I’m finished with this one all the parts will be 100% the same as the production parts, just that they’re in computerized form. Pretty cool, or geeky. You decide.

The new batch of Simple Eject hubs are shipping now and the new colors look great. Very bright and fresh. In a few weeks I’ll have a new bike built up with the latest parts. It’s gonna be super nice.

So, another Simple Bikes product has seen the light of day. This one is really simple and useful. It’s not quite a chain tensioner, but it will keep your chain tight and give pretty much the same effect as having the axle slammed all the way up in the dropout. Even better actually since depending on frame/gearing/chain length combo it’s hard to get a wheel perfectly slammed in the dropout.
The wheel literally can’t move more forward with this thing installed.
Made in 0.5mm increments starting at 0.5mm up to 8mm with 2 sizes per thing (0.5mm + 1mm, 1.5mm + 2mm etc.). Also avaliable is a peg adapter that fits around the slammer part so for when using a peg there will be a full contact surface, but still small and clean for no peg use without the adapter.
Take a look at the pics below and you can also discuss on thecomeupboard or in the comments below.

Some new products through Simple Bikes are in the works. Both things things that will be on the Eject line and things that will be regular Simple stuff. I’m really excited about all of it. More info to follow, maybe some spy shots too if I’m feeling nice.
The Eject hub (aka. the Option from the first batch) is available at distributors and shops. Also the Eject stem is out, but is on hold due to the wrong bolts being supplied with it. It’s being taken care of.
