Another Interbike has passed and I was not there — again. I probably didn’t miss too much, judging from the pics that have been posted. One thing though… was there only one dude there with a camera? I seem to almost exclusively have seen the photos Kurt from BMXunion has on his site re-posted everywhere.

Nightfall Bike Co. based up in Cairns, Australia have got some frames out. Some time ago I helped these guys out with some manufacturing drawings for a stem and a sprocket they designed. Frames look pretty dialled. I couldn’t find any specs, but if you’re interested I suggest that you hit up their blog. Product [...]

Here are some “spy shots” straight off the factory production line of some of the new Simple products that will be out shortly. Not all of them are new products, but most of them have been refined from the previous batch. The biggest change would probably be on the System-stem which has received a total [...]

The other day I got sent a link to this german site called Leichtsinn, which is a weight-weenie site mostly dedicated to bmx products. The main story on there now features a modified version of the Simple stem, the System. He’s done a really good job of it and it looks way more tech and [...]

Just found this photo and figured I’d share it filed in the funny section. Look closely and you’ll see an almost perfect imprint of the sidewall text in the dust of the rim. Here’s a little thing I’ve been playing around with lately. Over the years I have made many drawings of different parts and I just figured it could be a cool thing to put it all together into a complete bike. The frame, fork, bars, stem and front hub are already available as products. The rims, tyres and barends [...]

The new batch of Simple Eject hubs are shipping now and the new colors look great. Very bright and fresh. In a few weeks I’ll have a new bike built up with the latest parts. It’s gonna be super nice.

So, another Simple Bikes product has seen the light of day. This one is really simple and useful. It’s not quite a chain tensioner, but it will keep your chain tight and give pretty much the same effect as having the axle slammed all the way up in the dropout. Even better actually since depending [...]

Some new products through Simple Bikes are in the works. Both things things that will be on the Eject line and things that will be regular Simple stuff. I’m really excited about all of it. More info to follow, maybe some spy shots too if I’m feeling nice. The Eject hub (aka. the Option from [...]
