Klätterservice

One of my best friends in the whole wide world, Robban Källström, rather recently made some changes in his career. He went from being an electrician to working with what’s called rope access. Whenever you see dudes performing work while hanging from a rope in the side of a structure — that’s what he’s doing now and he’s been keeping busy. Looks like a pretty challenging and exciting line (no pun intended) of work.

Do you have a high building that need some overhaul or installations done?
Then check out the website of Klätterservice (Climbing services).

Pim Injured

Last night I had a conversation on MSN with Simple Bikes team rider Pim Van Den Bos. He told me that he had a crash with his bike and that he’ll be in for surgery in a couple of days. Check below for the conversation.

Needless to say, he’s taking it like a man.

Diftype update

My buddy Niklas over at Diftype has launched a new style portfolio. He recently had a tutorial published in the printed magazine Computer Arts (Issue #166), which makes me want to go buy the issue so I can check it out.

If you like his work you will find that most of the designs in the portfolio are available for purchase as different sized prints. And I’m sure he’ll be all ears if anyone is interested in hiring him for some freelance work.

This is a triptych that I bought recently and that will be framed or mounted and later put on a wall in the house that I will live in shortly.

My friend Niklas Lundberg over at Diftype just attended the May 1st Reboot, which is an international relaunch of web sites by authors and creatives working within the field of Web Design.

Under the name of Difype, Niklas creates some really amazing digital artwork and now his new portfolio is online. He’s done work for NCC, MTV Australia and the media collective depthCORE to name a few.

[Edit: May1st Reboot didn’t happen this year apparently, but Niklas launched his new portfolio site anyway.]

I would highly recommend that you go check out his artwork. Below are some little samples of what’s on display on the Diftype site. GO!

A Swedish Classic

This teaser for a re-release of the swedish classic BMX video “Torleif and the Hunters” recently emerged on the TUMULT site. I’m really looking forward to this and it will be fun to see the comments it will generate on TheComeUp if it makes it’s way on there.

Enjoy!

News and a link

Focalpoint has got a new promo video for their new clothing line up on their index page featuring the FP crew doing some nice street stunts. The new flat peak caps look great, so does the new tee designs.

Also, I’ve added a new link to an aussie bike company, Nightfall Bike Co., based in Cairns. They’ve got some nice products out and more on the way. I really like the sprocket (see the pic that I borrowed from their site).

New link!

My girlfriend Maggie used to be a very active blogger but stopped for a while. She’s now changed over to WordPress and has a new blog up and running. It will undergo some design changes in the near future. So if you want to read what the girlfriend of a weird nerdy swede has on her mind, click yourself on over to the Gossip Lounge. Maybe there will be some embarrassing gossip about me there…

Today Team TUMULT got their first ever batch of t-shirts. The design is a collaboration with Andreas Houmann of Sweet Leaf. They cost only 175 SEK (approx. 30USD) + shipping. Printed on American Apparel and they come in white with black screen print or black with white discharge print.
