Dave Montoya

I don’t know Dave Montoya, I’ve never met him. But I hear people say that he’s a good dude and that he’s been struck with some bad luck and is currently fighting a brain tumour.

Since I don’t know Dave, I can’t write much about him as a person so I have opted to relay this, which is what Cooper @ Focalpoint wrote about his situation.

I have known Dave for probably 4 years now, we talk online occasionally and I have been fortunate to ride with him a couple times on my travels to Queensland. Dave is an awesome rider! He is also a dialed graphic designer who helped me alot when I was moving into the colour printing world back in the day. Dave even layed out a few pages of the mag!
Well Dave is suffering from a brain tumour and has been for a couple of years now. This shit is terrible to happen to anyone, so when a fellow rider its dealt this hand it hits pretty close to home. I urge everyone who reads this to jump over to the blog his brother Dan has set up and have a read all about it, and check out Daves Flickr page while you are there, he shoots some rad stuff! And if you feel it, throw a couple bucks into the paypal donation for his treatment.

I know Cooper well enough to say that any person that’s good in his eyes would be a good enough person for me to get along with. That’s at least one reason I felt like I should post this here to help spread the message.
