Team TUMULT head honcho and driving force Jesper Stern decided to put his DVD “Satan I Gatan” (translates literally to “Devil in the streets”, but is actually an expression that could be translated to “holy shit” or something like that).
It was released in October 2007 and I guess it was about time it was put online.

There’s a massive heatwave here in the state of Victoria. I’ve heard it’s been the hottest consecutive days in history, and it’s not cooling down much.
For the past couple of days it’s been above 40°C and people are sweating everywhere. Yesterday I probably drank at least 5 liters of water, which is a lot to me, but it’s probably still not enough to stay hydrated in this heat.
And working at a place without air conditioning makes it feel like working in a sauna all day.
The heat is definitely taking it’s toll on people and the city. Public transport is struggling with thousands of canceled train departures, power outages from heavy air conditioner usage and at least one person suffered some kind of heat induced rage and threw his 4-year old daughter off a tall bridge into the river. With his 2 sons in the car to witness it!
A while back I made this post about a couple of custom bikes built around Simple frames. Not long after one of them showed up in issue # 15 of Focalpoint Magazine as a print ad for Hell On Wheels in Sydney. It’s definately one of the coolest ad’s I’ve seen in a long tome and I’ve been meaning to post about it for a quite some time but just never got around to it. But here it is — Finally!
My friens and Fly Bikes rider Zack Musarsa sent me a link to this photo off the Colony site. Seems Simple’s very own Daniel Wallis has got his own personal customised sticker on Zac Miner’s fridge. Pretty close I must say, at least close to what he looked like in the last photo I saw of him in a magazine interview.
Got sent photos of 2 random Simple Enigma bikechecks and one funnybike.
First one is from ZombieBMX, it’s a featured bikecheck of Stephen’s Enigma. Pretty cool paintjob there!
This next one is something I found when browsing the ZombieBMX site. Maybe someoune had a vision of what’s to come if the current trend keeps it’s course. Should probably be taken as a warning!
Third one is another Enigma that Niels over at Simple linked me to. Pretty Bling! with all the money he’s pasted onto the bike!
I just finished a new desktop background for myself. Grew tired of the one I’ve had for way too long now. I played around a bit and came up with this one, figured I’d put it up here in case someone else might be in need of a new desktop too.
Yesterday Simple Bikes rider Scott Lacey won a BSX (Bicycle Supercross) race here in Melbourne. It’s an annual event that been going for three years and the racing takes place head to head on two parallel tracks in an elimination style format. Congratulations Scott!
Here’s a photo of the track. I’ll add photos of Scott racing as soon as I get some.
I’ve updated the gallery and changed the style of it. It’s now got a separate WordPress theme more suited for displaying photos.
Check it out here, or by clicking the “gallery” link at the top.
A couple of days ago I mentioned a little overhaul of this blog. And I’m not the only one making updates for 2009, Cooper over at Focalpoint has put in countless hours updating the site and it’s a major improvement. More content, a sweet look and constant (almost) news updates. Go check it out!
