My good friend Jems, also a Simple teamrider, just told me he injured his knee a few days ago. Knee injuries are always scary, but Jems says it’s hopefully not as bad as he initially thought. Fingers crossed for his quick recovery!

Jems is a local at the greatest trails I’ve ever been to. That was 2 years ago now and a lot of changes have been made to the trails by now and I would sure as hell wanna go back to ride them again. Until then, I guess this little archive video will have to be good enough.

Enjoy!

And here’s a clip from back when I was there.

One of the newer guys on the Simple team has a video up on YouTube in which he’s flowing around in a really nice park somewhere in the UK.
Very nice little edit and the song is kickass good! One of my favorites.

Have a look-see:

Black Hole Earth?

As everyone knows, the giant LHC at CERN in Switzerland that has taken 14 years to build is scheduled to be turned on in May 2008. But now, this botanist/grade-school teacher who minored in physics years ago, has filed a lawsuit (in Hawaii) to postpone the start of the LHC because “it could create a black hole that will eat the earth” or “create strangelet particles that would start a chain reaction where these particles transform the entire universe to a stranglet-soup”. Wow Mr. Botanist, I’m sure you’re right and I trust you more than the real physicists at CERN.
